This is a lithographic print from Australian artist Richard Lindon. His work is evidently well-known, as it can be seen widely on the web, and he has a website in which you can find more information about him. He was born in 1935.
This print is clean and is a nicely detailed rendition of a sailing ship called the "Preussen" Perhaps you know the significance of the ship; possibly it is famous in Australian history. From our point of view, though, it is a well-crafted, pleasant image of a sailing ship, in good condition, and will brighten your day.
This print is mostly sepia-toned, with just a touch of color. Kind of oddly stylistic, but pleasing.
It's a beautiful print and well-crafted. The sails pick up light wonderfully, especially when lit from above.
The print's condition is good; the frame has some wear, as befits an older piece. The print is signed and dated 1980, but is not numbered.
